I am pleased to inform you we have issued NSI Technical Bulletin 0031 covering keyholding and response services within BS 7984-1:2016. This is for companies holding NSI Guarding Gold or Silver approval for the provision of keyholding and response services. You can use the Bulletin to see the changes made to the standard compared with BS 7984:2008 and you can obtain a copy of the Bulletin from the NSI Guarding Gold and Guarding Silver areas of the NSI website using your login details. New applicant companies will be audited against the 2016 edition of BS 7984-1 with immediate effect. Companies holding NSI approval to BS 7984:2008 are expected to upgrade to the 2016 edition of BS 7984-1 by the end of August 2017 at the latest.
