As you will know, in early 2020 NSI introduced to the market the NCP 119 code Provision of Labour in the Security and Events Sector. We did this due to evidence of poor practices where labour provision was not necessarily covered by the relevant British Standards which could have subsequently impacted the quality of labour provision and the credibility of our industry. NSI made the code open to other Certification Bodies to ensure companies in the sector have a choice in supplier. An MoU was signed by three Certification Bodies. The Certification Bodies currently accepted within the MoU are: • NSI • ACM-CCAS Ltd (Now Amtivo Group trading as British Assessment Bureau) • SSAIB We can confirm that Certification, where it is awarded, must be from one of these Certification Bodies. Certification from any other organisation will not be accepted.
