This Circular Letter informs you of the British Standard for the UK adoption of EN ISO 45001:2023. It is identical to ISO 45001:2018 so no transition or action is required by approved companies. BS EN ISO 45001:2023 supersedes BS ISO 45001:2018 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 which have been withdrawn. Clients who previously purchased BS ISO 45001:2018 do not need to purchase BS EN ISO 45001:2023 as the content remains unchanged. The newly dated standard will be displayed when your next NSI approval certificate is created. Should you require one sooner displaying the 2023 date, this can be requested through your account coordinator, details of whom can be found on the responsibilities tab of the NSI Intact portal. BS EN ISO 45001:2023 is now available through the standards subscription service.
