VERIFYING CERTIFICATES FOR COP NCP 119 (THE PROVISION OF LABOUR IN THE SECURITY AND EVENTS SECTOR)

As per earlier communications and NSI regulations, if you are approved under the NSI guarding or cash schemes and you utilise labour providers within your supply chain for the security and events sectors, our schemes require verification of compliance with NCP 119. This requirement can be met by: a) only sourcing additional labour from labour providers approved COP or NCP 119 – The provision of labour in the security and events sector; or b) by demonstrating at audit that your company has completed an internal audit of each labour provider against the requirements of NCP 119. Under our schemes, we will accept COP / NCP 119 certificates from three certification bodies: • NSI • Amtivo Group trading as British Assessment Bureau • SSAIB We would like to provide you with information on how you can verify that the certificates you have received from your suppliers are genuine: • NSI – https://www.nsi.org.uk/company-finder/ • Amtivo Group trading as British Assessment Bureau – security@british-assessment.co.uk • SSAIB – https://supplier.ssaib.org/security-provider-search/ If you think the certificate is not genuine, or are unsure, please contact the relevant certification body as soon as possible.
