The additional quality management system requirements and audit criteria applicable to organisations approved under the NSI Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment Gold Certification Scheme. It supplements BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and incorporates requirements associated with the BAFE SP205 scheme for the provision of life safety fire risk assessment services.

CONFIRMATION OF “VALIDATOR” STATUS
This circular letter informs NSI Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment approved companies about changes in the process of confirming a fire risk assessor’s status as a ‘validator’ under the BAFE SP205 scheme. The new confirmation letters will no longer include the ‘Tier’ of the assessed premises and will require a completed fire risk assessment for certain applications.
